Not bad!

Been 8 years since I used My Plate. My how things have changed! I like the app and how it syncs with my Apple Watch. I miss having a personal group. I liked linking with my family and friends so we can encourage each other and be accountable too. I also miss my little turtle graphic showing how close I am to achieving my goal weight. Im using Apple products (phone, iPad and watch), perhaps those items still exist via computer but Ill never be logging in that way. Cant get the mPoints to work via iPad. Overall Im happy, hopefully theres better things to come in updates

Good app, but SLOWWWWWW

S....L....O....W I use this app. It does what it says it will do. But when I click on a meal, it takes seven seconds for it to respond to my click. It makes me want to pull my hair out!

Keep yourself accountable

This app is great for keeping yourself accountable. I tracked everything I ate and it helped me to lose the 5lbs I wanted to shed. It also helped me eat healthier (foods with more vitamins, minerals & protein) and with more purpose (avoid mindless snacking) because it provides the percentages of fat, protein and carbs youre eating daily. I love it!! A few months ago I deleted this app just to make more room on my phone and now Im downloading it again because Ive gained those pesky pounds back

It works great. It is so convenient to scan in what you eat and not have to add it all the time. I have been a member of Livestrong.com since 2009 and have lost a total of 115lbs. I contribute a great deal of it to the website and app. Highly r commended!

Keeping myself healthy

This is by far one of the best apps I have tried in keeping track of my health habits. I normally wouldnt rate apps but I felt this one deserved the five stars. I feel as though its supporting me in being healthier and livening better.

feature poor doesnt sync

Wow, look at all these fake reviews... Need a way to copy a meal from another day (I had leftovers from dinner Sat night for lunch). Remember the portion size of previously used items. I eat the same amount or spaghetti for lunch about three times per week. The bar code scanner barely works. Finally I have the iPad and iPhone app and Im logged in on both and they dont sync.

Great community, free, customizable

This app has a great community, everyone is incredibly supportive, helpful, and welcoming. There is a free version of the app, and a "gold" version that you pay for. I have the free version, and it includes all the features and functions I need/want. This is a vast improvement from a different app I tied, which marketed itself as free, yet didnt let you even enter meals without paying for the "pro" version. MyPlate is very easy to use, and you can customize your daily calorie, macronutrient (carbs, protein, fat), sodium, cholesterol, sugar, and dietary fiber goals. You can also set these to automatic, and it calculates daily goals based on height, weight, activity level, long-term goal (gain, lose, or maintain weight), and other factors. Overall, I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a free, comprehensive nutrition tracker with a great community you can go to for help and support.

Thankful for some accountability

Ive been on-and-off with this app, but as Im coming back around, Im glad to have a simple way of logging what Ive been doing, if only for the reminder of... "oh, you devoured a six-pack of donuts this morning... you should honk about a salad for lunch".

Like it so far

Less than a week in, and this is my first foray into food tracking, but so far so good! Cooked at home quite a bit and was easily able to track. First/only restaurant meal so far was easy to at least approximately upload. Never having tracked my diet before, I find it fascinating and educational. My only functional frustration Im having is that for some reason my recipes only sometimes save. I imagine (hope) this quirk will be reconciled in a future version of the app. In the meantime, Ive just started listing the recipe ingredients as "snacks." Its not a perfect process, but this is all still a grand experiment for me, and Id rather jump through some odd hoops than financially invest with experiments of this kind, so no real complaints here and a lot of compliments.

registration error

it wont let me sign up for an account it keeps saying registration error: there was a problem with the return data from the server

Very disappointing.

I cant get past the sign up page. I enter all the information correctly. When I get to screen to register by Facebook or email I choose email. I put in my legitimate and correct email...I choose an 8-character long password. I keep getting a "oops you need to enter a correct email". Over and over. I deleted ap and re downloaded 3 times but this is still happening. Can u please fix this email signup glitch? I do not have a Facebook acct nor do I want one. The email I entered and password choice is appropriate and correct, so why isnt it working?

Great food tracker

Easy to use, very clear and organized

Great

This app is nice and tracks food like a champ but doesnt have many exercises in its log so unless you know exactly what youre burning at the gym the workout log doesnt help at all.
